Information Collection and Use
Cairns Diesel Service is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will never share or sell this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Cairns Diesel Service collects information from our users at several different points on our website. Log Files
We use IP addressed to analyse trends, administer the site, track users movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addressed are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Payment
Payments for all online orders are processed via Stripe Payments which includes Credit Card, Apple Pay, PayPal, Google Pay and more. We take payment as soon as the products are purchased. We do allow for a payment on pick up option if you are collecting your order locally. Our Exchange products all include a Core Deposit that will be held as collateral until the exchange is made and we receive. You can read more about this below.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the users hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. For instance, by setting a cookie on our site, the user would not have to log in a password more than once. This is for your convenience when using our site. If a user rejects a cookie, they may still use our site. The user will be limited in some areas of our website if cookies are rejected.

This website takes every precaution to protect our users’ information both online and off-line. When purchasing from Cairns Diesel Service your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest encryption technology. Payments are processed through Stripe, who’s privacy policy can be accessed here. If you have any questions regarding our security policy, please contact our customer.

We value the relationship we have with you our customer, and our promise to you is that we handle all data we collect securely, sensitively and with proper regard for your privacy. Your personal information is private and we will not release it to third parties. The only exception to this clause would be if we are required by law to disclose certain information; when your product requires personalisation or delivery to you by another company.

We take all reasonable steps to ensure that the information we collect is accurate, complete, and securely stored. This information you provide us is used for billing and delivery purposes and to measure customer interest in our products. When you order from us we will maintain your name, postal address, email and payment/order processing information. We only use this information to ensure we can deliver you a superior service.
