Please read our following Terms and
Conditions carefully before using our website. By using our website, you indicate
that you have, effective upon the date on which you have used our website, read
accepted and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. 
If you do not agree with these Terms
and Condition, you should cease using Cairns Diesel Service’s website immediately.

Returns Policy

Please ensure you check your order before confirming your purchase at the check out.

All returns must be completed within 7 days of purchase, unused and in a resalable condition. Return shipping will be at your expense.

We perform quality assurance checks on your products before they are packed to ensure nothing is broken and in perfect condition. Please check your goods for damage before signing the delivery note, as damage in transit is the responsibility of the courier.

If you receive a part that appears damaged or is not working correctly within 7 days of purchase, return the product to us for validation. Cairns Diesel Service will refund the purchase price or replace the part. If you have made an error with your order, please contact us immediately so we can rectify it before dispatch. 

General Warranty

 Cairns Diesel Service offer a quality assurance guarantee that ensures your product is covered for the first 12 months. Once the 12-month period is complete and your car has performed over 20,000km’s with the new part, your guarantee is complete. We are confident that this guarantee is a very fair window to ensure the parts your received are in working condition. If you suspect that your part is faulty or not performing correctly, contact us immediately to discuss possible solutions. 


You are prohibited from purchasing Goods from Cairns Diesel Service for the purpose of resale and on sale to other persons whether as a business or non business. Goods are only for personal use including but not limited to gifting and/or on behalf of another for their personal use.

Core Deposit Policy

The core deposit charge includes GST and will be automatically added to the total amount. This amount is fully refunded upon receiving the exchange core unit (the customers’ existing part). The core unit must be fully assembled and in a condition that is repairable.

 We understand that this will be a used unit, but must be functional enough that the damage or contamination doesn’t cause failure. If your core isn’t in any working condition your Core Deposit may not be fully refunded. We can restore most cores, except those that have major unrepairable damage. This product must be the same part number as to what has been provided. For products such as Turbochargers, they must include the actuator and housings. It must be a genuine OEM, complete and assembled core.

Preparing To Return Your Core

Your old unit can be packaged in the box that your new unit arrived in and you will receive a full refund if we receive the old unit in serviceable condition.

  • Unit must be returned to us within 31 days from the date your receipt was issued
  • Please drain the unit of fuel before packing into a plastic bag
  • Unit but must be functional enough that the damage or contamination doesn’t cause failure, and it’s still in a serviceable condition
  • *Turbochargers: Must include the actuator and housings. It must be a genuine OEM, complete and assembled

Freight For Core Returns

You can return your core via any freight company of your choice. If you are unable to make it to a post office or have issues with shipment, we can organise a courier to pick up from your home at your expense. Please contact us if you require this service and we can deduct the cost from your Core Deposit refund.
