Shipping and Delivery
Please read our following Terms and
Conditions carefully before using our website. By using our website, you indicate
that you have, effective upon the date on which you have used our website, read
accepted and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms
and Condition, you should cease using Cairns Diesel Service’s website immediately.
Shipping
We aim to dispatch your products within 24 hours of receiving your order (On business days)
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with all the relevant information. We partner with multiple courier companies such as Australia Post, TNT and Sendle to ensure fast and reliable delivery to all parts of the country. You should expect your package within 2-10 business days depending on your location. We have a parcel tracker on our website, simply copy your order number from the confirmation email into the ‘parcel tracker’ to view all the details.
In the event that an ordered item is not available, or we are unable to fulfill your order we will notify you within 1-2 business days and arrange an agreeable alternative which is either a refund or credit for a backorder.
International Shipping
International orders may incur duties and taxes in your specific country which you are responsible for. Some of the international post options do not include tracking, so we ask you please consider this when choosing your shipping method.
Depending on the product, a different core deposit may apply to international customers. Once we receive your order, we will inform you if there is any additional charge. This is due to the extra processing through international customs and freight expenses.
Where Do We Ship?
Cairns Diesel Service delivers our products Australia wide and offer overseas shipping to both New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. If you are not within these regions and interested in purchasing our products, please contact us at admin@cairnsdiesel.com.au
How Much Is Shipping?
Freight charges are calculated based on the total weight and dimensions of the order. We have a shipping calculator built into your cart that will allow you to calculate the expense based on your weight, location, and courier.
How Long Will It Take?
We offer multiple delivery options that include different arrival timelines based on your location and your preferred courier. Both of our courier options have Standard Post shipping via Sendle and Australia Post. Australia Post also offer Express Post that is next business day delivery.
Payment on Pickup
By selecting “Payment on Pickup” as your chosen payment method, you acknowledge that full payment must be received by Cairns Diesel Service. Once a purchase has been completed you have agreed to these terms and conditions. Your acceptance of these terms and conditions constitutes your agreement to settle the full amount due for any purchases made using this option.
Freight For Core Returns
You can return your core via any freight company that you choose. If you are unable to make it to a post office or have issues with shipment, we can organise a courier to pick up from your home at your expense. Please contact us if you require this service and we can deduct the cost from your Core Deposit refund.
Our Courier Options
Australia Post deliver to over 12.4 million delivery points across the country. Australia Post offer ‘Parcel Post’ which is your standard general shipping. ‘Parcel Post’ can take from 2-6 business days for interstate delivery, or 3-6 days for interstate. They also offer ‘Express Post’ that ensures next business day delivery. There may be exceptions for certain locations that you can check via the link below. Both ‘Parcel Post’ and ‘Express Post’ are tracked with a unique tracking number that you can see in real time via the AusPost website.

TNT ship to any location Australia wide as well as International delivery. We have a TNT courier that will pick up your goods directly from our workshop. They provide regular post services as well as express consignment for those deliveries you need urgently.

TNT Services
Sendle partner with a dynamic delivery network based around Australia and will automatically match you with the best door-to-door delivery service based on the quality measures in their system. They use couriers such as FedEx, StarTrack and other private companies. They operate with a system called “Hub and Spoke” which they describe as parcels taking public transport, rather than each one driving in their own car. It’s much more cost-effective for those who aren’t needing their items express.
- Parcels are picked up by a driver (who is on their regular route)
- Then they are taken back to the depot (delivery hub)
- The parcels are sorted and loaded to travel between depots overnight (if intercity)
- Then they’re loaded for delivery in the local area during the drivers normal run
